As a young man of about 19 years old I became a Christian, joined up with The Salvation Army in Northampton, and answered God’s call to offer myself for full-time ministry. Along with my then wife I served for over 28 years up and down the country as a Salvation Army officer.
In 2012, following the breakdown of my marriage, I left The Salvation Army and took up work in the care sector working with adults with learning difficulties and mental health issues.
In 2016 I married Kat, and through her encouragement returned to Christian ministry. I served for a year in a small church in Coalville, Leicestershire, before we moved to the lovely village of Guilden Morden where I was appointed minister of this Congregational church.
I believe God has a great future for our church and look forward to engaging with the community in exploring our faith in God. On a personal note, I’m the dad of 3 grown up children, love watching Formula 1, enjoy reading a good book, watching movies with my wife & going on walks with our dog Bruno. If you see us out in the village, say hello!
